Nice Cabins

The Linwood has 10 nice cabins and my extended family stayed in the large 4 bedroom cabin #6. It was clean, roomy and had a great view of the lake.

Campgrounds

The campground facilities were great! Full water, electric and sewer hookups, picnic tables, fire ring and a fantastic view of the lake all for $150.00 total cost for the week. A large bundle of firewood was delivered to the site for $7.00 and that lasted the whole week.

Lake View

This is the view of the lake we had from our picnic table...a great way to start the morning!

The Lodge

The Lodge overlooks the lake and it's a fun place to sit and have a beer or ice cream or just tell the day's fish tales. There is a gameroom on the lower level with video games, foosball, and pool table.

The Dock

The dock was large and had a nice fishing area and a deck with lounge chairs and a table. A 16 ft Lund boat comes with the cabin rental and I brought my 18 horse motor with us and it worked out well. I must say that they kept a dock attendant on duty at all times. I can't ever recall having better dock service. Justin, Gavin and Taylor were allways there when we needed them!

Pontoon Rental

My daughter Kayla enjoyed the large Pontoon we rented a couple of days. Its a great way to relax on the lake for those who don't really care to fish that much!

The New Pool!

Just installed this summer was a brand new heated swimming pool. The girls really enjoyed taking a dip while the guys fished.

Fishing

We were told that the walleyes were tough to find in August. That was somewhat true, but we did manage to bag 6 of them over the 15 inch minimum limit. Sunfish were a different story as they were all over the lake, some very large and easy to catch.

Multi-Species (Fat Bullhead)

As mentioned we bagged 6 legal sized walleye, but Osakis holds many different species. Sunfish dominated our catch, but we also caught, Northern Pike, Crappie, Perch (a few real jumbos), Bullhead, Largemouth Bass, Rock Bass and my daughter Melissa caught a nice 19 inch Smallmouth!

Fun for all

There's nothing like seeing my daughter Melissa's face light up while getting to drive the Pontoon!

Fishing for all

Even Grandpa got in on the good fishing. We were blessed with great weather during our week stay.

A cool one on a lake cruise

On a hot summer day, there's nothing like a cool one on a leisure cruise of the lake as my sister Deb found out!

The Spectacular Sunsets!

The sunsets were amazing! They were this way every night we were there. You just can't describe them.

A sucessfull Trip
